During the pandemic I was furloughed twice from my full time job totalling 6 months.  In that time off I discovered “Dogstagram” and women all across the country that had created small businesses so they could be stay at home dog moms.  I was so jealous and I thought to myself “wow must be nice” but as time went on and I thought about it more and more my thought changed to “why not me.” 

My grandparents owned a bakery when I was young so I have always enjoyed baking and cake decorating for hoomans so why not dogs?  In February 2022 I started messing around with recipes, making sure they were dog safe per the AKC, and giving out samples to my friends and family’s dogs to try out – they were a hit!  In May 2022, I launched Honey B’s Bakery’s IG and applied for my LLC shortly after.
